Is your child almost one and you want to celebrate this in a special way? Then a cake smash session is perfect! I am a cake smash photographer in York and the shoot consists of taking spontaneous and natural photos of your baby with a beautiful cake. The beautiful cake will be made especially for your child in the colours that you choose. They can dig into the cake, break it and eat it with their hands.

I first start with taking photos without the cake so that you have some beautiful portrait photos. The cake is then introduced and the cake party for your little one commences. 

Finally to close the shoot and to clean up the sticky hands, he/she can take a bath in which I will also take nice pictures of this with a bubble blower. These photos are great for birthday invitations or decorations for his/her birthday! Or just as a reminder to show them when they are older!

For the decorations you can choose the colours you would like for the shoot and I will take care of setting this up and organising the cake. The photo shoot takes roughly between 30 mins-1 hour.

The photo shoot includes the beautiful cake and whatever is left of it after the shoot you can take home. Often there is still a lot left and the cake is still fairly edible :) !
