My style is relaxed and will capture those special moments naturally with or without posing shots - the finer details and preference can be discussed with you before we start your shoot!

Newborn Photography is the photography of a newborn baby. These photos are best taken when the baby is between 4 and 14 days old this is because babies still sleep very well at this age. Safety, peace, warmth, hygiene and the well-being of your child is most important during the photo shoot. My preference of the shoot is for soft colours and materials to be used.

As part of the shoot you can also be photographed as a family and brothers and sisters are also welcome.

For the photo shoot it is of course the intention that the parents and your little one feel completely at ease. I can use different background colours, soft blankets, knitted hats, wooden bowls, headbands and other accessories.

Before the photo shoot we can discuss colours you would like to be incorporated and if there are any particular accessories that you have and would like to be incorporated into the shoot we can include those e.g. your own cuddly toy or a favourite blanket.

We take time for a Newborn photo shoot and can last for up to 3 hours, because it is important that the baby is relaxed and can be changed, fed and cuddled by the mother / father present. I like to start the photo shoot with time in which the baby is fed, so that the baby is nice and relaxed. During the photo shoot there is of course the possibility for the parents to sit back with a drink and some biscuits :).

The baby will be placed in a number of different natural positions and often the little ones will just sleep through, but when they wake up we will take beautiful pictures with their eyes open also or we can take the time to get the little one back to sleep. To conclude the photo shoot, we can make a number of family portraits with the parents and/or brothers and sisters.
